Field Scenario
A model realizes the day before a shoot that they have a visible tan line from recent sun exposure that wasn’t present at casting.
What You Actually Do
- Communicate the change to the photographer or client ahead of the shoot, not as a surprise on set
- Recognize this as a proactive professional courtesy, not an admission of failure
- Understand that styling, scheduling, or retouching decisions can be made in advance once flagged
- Continue basic skin prep (hydration, moisturizing) in the meantime as part of normal shoot-day readiness
