Field Scenario
A fit model notices a garment restricts movement slightly but suspects the designer wants that fitted look specifically for aesthetic reasons.
What You Actually Do
- Provide honest, accurate feedback about the restriction regardless of the suspected aesthetic intent
- Let the designer make the informed decision about whether to accept that tradeoff
- Avoid unilaterally deciding the feedback doesn’t matter based on a guess about design intent
- Recognize the fit model’s job is accurate feedback, not redesigning the garment
